Melissa Etheridge is one of rock music’s great female icons. Her critically acclaimed eponymous debut album was certified double platinum. Etheridge’s popularity built around such memorable songs as “Bring Me Some Water,” “No Souvenirs” and “Ain’t It Heavy” for which she won her first Grammy for Best Female Rock Vocal. Etheridge hit her commercial and artistic stride with her fourth album, Yes I Am, featuring the massive hits “I’m the Only One” and “Come to My Window,” a searing song of longing that brought her a second Grammy. The six times platinum album spent more than two and a half years on the album chart. Etheridge is also an Oscar winner for Best Original Song in 2007. In 2011 Melissa made her Broadway debut as St. Jimmy in Green Day’s rock opera, American Idiot, where she replaced Billie Joe Armstrong for one week, and received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

For over four decades, Blue Öyster Cult has been thrilling fans of intelligent hard rock worldwide with powerful albums loaded with classic songs. Upon the release of BÖC’s self-‐titled debut album in 1972, the band was praised for its catchy-‐yet-‐heavy music and lyrics that could be provocative, terrifying, funny or ambiguous, often all in the same song. BÖC’s canon includes three stone-‐cold classic songs that will waft through the cosmos long after the sun has burned out: The truly haunting “(Don’t Fear) The Reaper” from 1976’s Agents of Fortune, the pummeling “Godzilla” from 1977’s Spectres and the hypnotically melodic “Burnin’ for You” from 1981’s Fire of Unknown Origin.

PERFORMANCE DESCRIPTION
Spectacle Management is proud to present The Wallflowers at Plymouth Memorial Hall on Thursday, July 18 at 7:30 pm.

A central part of the mid-'90s revival of roots-rock, The Wallflowers hold a special connection to one of the original rock inspirations through their vocalist, songwriter, and guitarist Jakob Dylan. Although he is the son of a legend, and remains a close lyrical companion to the original Dylan, Jakob's similarities to his father are only occasional -- in fact, the Wallflowers are more sonically influenced by Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers than original '60s folk-rock.

The Wallflowers’ hit single "One Headlight" was released in 1996, and by the spring of 1997, it had become a Top Ten hit, pushing Bringing Down the Horse into the upper reaches of the charts, as well. Bringing Down the Horse was a big seller throughout 1997, thanks to "6th Avenue Heartache," "One Headlight," and "The Difference," the third single pulled from the record. Early in 1998, "One Headlight" won Grammys for Best Rock Song and Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group With Vocal.

Tickets for The Wallflowers at Plymouth Memorial Hall on Thursday, July 18 at 7:30 pm are $39-$79 and go on sale Friday, March 8 at 10:00 am at memorialhall.com or by calling 1-800-657-8774.

This incredible 11-piece tribute band has over 200,000+ followers across social media and has had an astonishing 30 million+ video views… before ever touring outside of Russia! The future is only looking up for Leonid & Friends.
